To encourage users to participate in on-chain real trading of gold (XAU) and silver (XAG) perpetual contracts, Gate Perp DEX is launching the XAU/XAG Real Gold & Silver Trading Competition. During the event, trade the designated perpetual contracts to qualify for newcomer rewards and the trading volume leaderboard, and share a total prize pool of 30,000 USDT.
Event Period: January 15, 2026, 10:00 – January 22, 2026, 10:00 (UTC)
Eligible Trading Pairs: XAU/USDT / XAG/USDT
Event 1: Newcomer First Trade Reward (10,000 USDT)
During the event, users who have never traded any perpetual contracts on Gate Perp DEX before the event start and complete their first valid opening trade (single transaction amount ≥ 100 USDT) in either the XAU/USDT or XAG/USDT perpetual contracts will receive a 5 USDT reward. This offer is limited to the first 2,000 eligible users. Each address can only claim the reward once, and rewards are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until all are claimed.
Event 2: Real Gold & Silver Trading Volume Leaderboard (20,000 USDT)
During the event, users trading XAU/USDT and XAG/USDT perpetual contracts on Gate Perp DEX will be ranked based on their total trading volume during the event period. Users with a cumulative trading volume of at least 10,000 USDT will qualify for the leaderboard and share in the rewards according to their ranking. Leaderboard rewards are as follows:
- 1st place: 3,000 USDT
- 2nd place: 2,000 USDT
- 3rd place: 1,400 USDT
- 4th–10th place: 800 USDT each
- 11th–50th place: 200 USDT each
Event Details:
- Participants must click the "Join Now" button on the event page to register and complete identity verification to be eligible for rewards.
- To ensure fairness, the number of wallets associated with a single IP address is strictly monitored. Abnormal multi-account activity will be considered a violation and will result in disqualification.
- All airdrops will be distributed within 14 business days after the event ends.
- Net contract trading volume = opening trading volume + closing trading volume.
- USDT airdrops from all tasks can be stacked.
- For the trading leaderboard, if none of the participants meet the minimum individual contract trading volume requirement, the corresponding airdrop rewards will not be distributed. All users who meet the minimum requirement will receive the fixed rewards for the top 100 places in order of completion.
- Please note that the real-time leaderboard does not filter for the minimum individual contract trading volume requirement and does not represent the final results. Actual rewards will be based on the final verified winners list.
- "New users" may not create multiple wallet accounts under the same identity for this event. Deleting an existing wallet account does not qualify as being a "new user."
- Gate reserves the right to disqualify any participant engaging in fraudulent, manipulative, or deceptive behavior, including but not limited to wash trading, improper matching, bulk account registration, or other abnormal participation methods. Suspected fraudulent activities such as self-trading, wash trading, matched orders, or market manipulation will result in disqualification and forfeiture of airdrops.
- If a user participates in multiple events during the same period, only the highest airdrop reward will be granted. The platform reserves the final right of interpretation for this event.
- In case of any discrepancies between translated versions and the English version, the English version shall prevail.
