Bitcoin Address 1KV47 Transfers 30 BTC Worth $1.88M After 15-Year Dormancy Amid NY Litigation

According to Cointelegraph, Bitcoin address 1KV47 recently completed its first outflow in nearly 15 years, moving 30 BTC (approximately $1.88 million) from the wallet. The address initially received these coins in August 2011 and is among 39,069 addresses named in New York litigation where plaintiffs seek ownership of dormant bitcoin under state abandoned property law.

Galaxy Digital research head Alex Thorn reported that 31 related addresses transferred 17,527 BTC in June alone, a significant increase from 4,834 BTC transferred in February, reflecting accelerating activity among addresses tied to the case.
