Laut CryptoSlate-Daten über DefiLlama ist der Anteil von Ethereum am gesamten DeFi Total Value Locked (TVL) auf 54% gefallen (Stand: 10. Mai). Das markiert ein Jahrestief und ist ein Rückgang gegenüber 63,5% zu Beginn von 2025. Ethereum-DeFi-TVL liegt bei etwa 45,4 Milliarden US-Dollar und behauptet damit einen deutlichen Vorsprung. Währenddessen holen konkurrierende Chains wie Solana (6,66%), BNB Chain (6,60%), Bitcoin (6,35%), Tron (6,17%), Base (5,44%) und Hyperliquid (1,81%) nach und nach Marktanteile auf.
