Laut Ai 姨 sah ein Wal-Account, der zuvor im Zuge von Short-Positionen an Altcoins 86,36 Millionen US-Dollar Gewinn erzielt hatte, am 9. Mai nun rund 4,06 Millionen US-Dollar an nicht realisierten Verlusten über 29 Short-Positionen. Der Account hält Short-Positionen in 28 Altcoins, darunter ZEC, TON, NEAR und LIT, sowie in Öl-Futures (CL), mit einem Gesamtpositionswert von ungefähr 47,66 Millionen US-Dollar. Die Positionen blieben bis zum 4. Mai profitabel, als Marktaufschwünge aufgrund von Erwartungen an ein Kriegsende die Bestände ins Minus drehten.
