Techub News reports that a user exchanged 50 million USDT for AAVE through Aave. Due to not paying attention to the slippage warning, they ultimately received only about $36,000 worth of AAVE, resulting in a loss of nearly $50 million. Aave Labs founder stated that the user attempted to buy AAVE with $50 million USDT on Aave. However, because the order size was unusually large, the trading interface issued an abnormal slippage warning and required user confirmation via a checkbox. After confirming the warning on a mobile device, the user proceeded with the trade, accepted the high slippage, and ultimately received only 324 AAVE.

Additionally, CoW Swap stated that the trade was executed according to the signed order parameters. The interface displayed a clear price impact warning, with no signs of protocol vulnerabilities or malicious activity. Aave said they are trying to contact the user and will refund the $600,000 fee charged from the transaction.
