BlockBeats News, May 3, according to Bloomberg, Founders Fund—co-founded by billionaire Peter Thiel—has completed a new round of fundraising for its flagship fund, with a size of $6 billion, far exceeding its previous fund of about $3.4 billion. Insiders say the fund will focus on high-growth sectors such as AI, defense technology, cryptocurrency, aerospace, and cutting-edge technology.

It is reported that, despite the overall VC market in Silicon Valley still being sluggish, Founders Fund continues to attract a large amount of institutional capital, reflecting the market’s continued optimism for the AI and hard-tech sectors. The firm previously invested in well-known companies such as SpaceX, Palantir Technologies, Stripe, and Facebook.
