Hong Kong's strictest smoking ban will be enforced on April 30th.

When I saw this news yesterday, I was shocked, but today I carefully read the announcement from the Tobacco Control and Alcohol Office of the Hong Kong Department of Health, and it seems there is not much of a problem. This regulation mainly controls electronic cigarettes, heated tobacco, and herbal cigarettes (which are not tobacco but other plants).
To put it simply, what is banned are not the proper cigarettes, so I can happily bring my hand-rolled ones to meet everyone.
Official announcement:
What can be carried?
1. Finished cigarettes, 19 sticks
2. Cigars, 1 piece, 25g
3. Hand-rolled tobacco and pipe tobacco, 25g
Exceeding this limit must be declared and taxed, the tax rate is not low, but if you are caught without declaration, you will be fined. This is even more terrifying, so don’t take the risk.
