$BTC $ETH Trump strikes again with a reckless move: block the Strait of Hormuz? Just wait and see him shoot himself in the foot!
Trump is getting desperate! Starting April 13, will the US military blockade the Strait of Hormuz? Don’t be ridiculous, this move is completely “spoiled.”
Here’s what’s happening: Iran has given some countries the green light and started “toll passage,” which made Trump envious. Even more embarrassing, he went to Islamabad to discuss cooperation with Iran, wanting to set up a joint venture and charge fees together, but Iran flatly refused. With his face lost, in desperation, he issued harsh words about a blockade.
But can this move succeed? If the US really pushes through, the consequences will be serious:
First, Iran’s navy is no pushover; a maritime conflict could erupt at any moment, and a two-week ceasefire would immediately fall apart.
Second, China’s relationship with Iran is solid; Chinese cargo ships are still allowed through by Iran. If Trump dares to threaten China’s interests, beware of China using rare earths to choke him! Then Trump would have no chance to negotiate big deals with China.
Third, global oil prices would skyrocket, the economy would suffer, and all the blame would fall on Trump.
In short, Trump’s move is like a child throwing a tantrum. He already suffered a setback on February 28, and didn’t he then humbly back down? Is he doing it again? Blockade the Strait of Hormuz? If it really could be blocked, the US military would have already taken control.
Let’s wait and see: after the anger of the heavens and the people, Trump will have to find a way out himself. By then, even China might be too lazy to help him — the real show is still to come!
