[BAY x CertiK] The Security of Global Stablecoin Infrastructure Session Invitation
You are invited to a presentation on global stablecoin infrastructure at the Yonsei University Blockchain Association meetup on March 26th. We appreciate your participation and interest in this topic.
For those who have been following me, you know that I have long believed that stablecoins can open financial accessibility to the financially excluded. That conviction remains unchanged. However, the landscape of the market and regulatory environment has transformed completely in the meantime.
In this presentation, based on perspectives built through direct experience in the blockchain market since 2017, I would like to share three key points:
1. Lessons from DeFi's Collapse — How we managed risks during the collapse of first-generation stablecoins, and what that experience taught us about structural vulnerabilities.
2. Regulation as Design — How strengthened financial regulations are not merely external pressures, but are fundamentally reshaping the structure of stablecoins themselves.
3. Beyond On/Off-Ramps — Why I believe stablecoin infrastructure is evolving beyond simple deposit/withdrawal channels into a "compliance infrastructure" encompassing both on-chain and off-chain AML/KYC.
Whether stablecoins matter in global finance is no longer a point of debate. The real question is how inclusive, secure, and trustworthy that infrastructure becomes.
If you are interested in this topic, please join us on March 26th.
