Common Privacy Layer for Web3Aleph Zero is a public blockchain with enhanced privacy based on an innovative, peer-reviewed Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) and a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. It also incorporates the Substrate framework for interaction. This novel consensus has been developed with a privacy structure based on ZK-SNARKs cryptography and Secure Multi-Party Computation (sMPC). The protocol focuses on creating privacy-preserving distributed ledger technology (DLT) as an alternative to existing infrastructure barriers in sectors such as ESG, automotive, the Internet of Things (IoT), and healthcare.
