BMW launches the one-of-a-kind Apecar 1/1 from NFT BAYC in Munich

BMW has officially delivered the unique vehicle “Apecar 1/1” to collector Dennis Weidner at the IAA Mobility event in Munich on September 12, 2025. The car was created from the NFT Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) in the Otherside metaverse, marking a connection between Web3 culture and the traditional automotive manufacturing industry. Weidner, CEO of Cryptoticker and one of the 10,000 BAYC holders, sees this as a symbol of the startup journey and the maturity of digital assets in the real world.
