According to Politico, on September 24, Jin10 reported that six insiders revealed that U.S. President Trump promised Arab leaders during a meeting on Tuesday that he would not allow Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to annex the West Bank. Two of the insiders stated that Trump is firm on this issue, promising not to allow Israel to annex the West Bank, which will be governed by the Palestinian Authority rather than Hamas. Another insider pointed out that despite Trump's assurances, a ceasefire agreement ending Israel's nearly two-year war with Hamas is far from being reached. Two other insiders said that Trump and his team submitted a White Paper outlining the government's plan to end the war, including the non-annexation commitment and other details regarding post-war governance and security.
