Citrine Sleet uses a malicious software called AppleJeus to seize the victims’ crypto assets. This software targets financial institutions that manage cryptocurrencies. Hackers collect victims’ information using this software. Then, they gain access to cryptocurrency wallets with the collected information, thus seizing the funds.
North Korea’s Cryptocurrency Attacks

As Kriptokoin.com also reported, according to a report by the United Nations Security Council, North Korean hackers have carried out 58 different cyber attacks in the last seven years. In addition, it has been revealed that they stole about 3 billion dollars worth of cryptocurrency. These attacks particularly target cryptocurrency companies, gaming companies, and exchanges.
