Bitcoin Annualized Volatility Falls to 40 This Cycle, Down from 60 Previously, Schwab Says

According to Jim Ferraioli, head of crypto research at Schwab, on June 9, Bitcoin's annualized volatility in the current cycle stands at approximately 40, compared to 60 in the previous cycle and 80 the cycle before that, indicating declining volatility across market cycles. Ferraioli noted that Bitcoin has appeared relatively quiet amid strong AI and U.S. stock market momentum. Additionally, he disclosed that roughly 20% of spot Bitcoin ETF assets at Schwab come from Schwab clients.
