According to Xinhua, China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated on June 9 that Beijing urges South Korea to honor its commitments and strictly adhere to the one-China principle, refraining from any form of official contact with Taiwan and not being exploited by pro-independence forces.
