Circle Releases Arc Blockchain Whitepaper, Mainnet Launch Planned for Summer 2026

According to Foresight News, Circle released the Arc blockchain whitepaper on May 5. The mainnet launch is planned for summer 2026, with testnet operations beginning in October 2025. As of May 5, the testnet has processed 244.1 million transactions. Arc is positioned as an institutional-grade blockchain with EVM compatibility, native USDC integration, sub-second settlement capabilities, and configurable privacy features. Cross-chain transfers are facilitated through Circle’s CCTP (Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol).
