Crude Could Hit $150 Per Barrel If Middle East Conflict Persists, Rystad Energy Warns on June 9

According to Rystad Energy, crude oil could surge to $150 per barrel over the coming months if Middle East tensions continue, chief economist Claudio Galimberti said on June 9, 2026. With global crude inventories already at low levels, Galimberti warned that without resolution of regional conflicts and increased supply flows, stockpiles will continue to decline and push prices higher. As of June 9, Brent crude traded around $92 per barrel while WTI crude was near $90 per barrel.
