Lithium Carbonate Futures Break 205,000 Yuan/Ton, Up 3.51% on May 11

According to Shanghai Securities News, lithium carbonate futures main contract 2609 rose 3.51% on May 11, closing at 205,020 yuan/ton, marking a two-year high. The contract has gained over 40% since January, starting from 120,000 yuan/ton. Spot prices moved in tandem, with battery-grade lithium carbonate (evening session) averaging 195,400 yuan/ton on May 11, up 2,150 yuan/ton from May 8, according to My Steel data.
