Societe Generale's SG Forge Integrates MiCA-Compliant USDCV Stablecoin into MetaMask

Gate News message, April 16 — SG Forge, the digital asset subsidiary of French banking giant Societe Generale, has integrated its MiCA-compliant dollar-pegged stablecoin USDCV into MetaMask in partnership with Consensys, the developer of the widely-used Web3 wallet.

According to an announcement on April 15, USDCV is now available on both MetaMask's mobile application and web interface. Users can utilize USDCV for fiat on-ramps and off-ramps, digital asset trading, DeFi protocol access, and blockchain transaction fee payments via the Gas Station feature.

SG Forge also offers EURCV, a MiCA-compliant euro-pegged stablecoin initially launched on Ethereum in 2023. As part of its multi-chain expansion strategy, EURCV has since been deployed on Solana, XRP, and Stellar Lumens.
