XRP Ledger Version 3.2.0 Renames Core Software, Cuts Node Memory by 30-40% by June 15

XRP-2.7%
According to IBTimes US, XRP Ledger Version 3.2.0 scheduled for activation on June 15 renames the core server software from rippled to xrpld and is expected to cut node memory usage by 30-40%. Node operators must upgrade by the deadline or risk falling out of consensus and becoming isolated from the network. XRPL Operations announced the update on June 4, targeting the rename to reinforce the Ledger's identity as neutral, community-run infrastructure separate from Ripple the company.
