#BAS I still hold my BAS Position. Recently, I've seen a lot of people criticizing this coin, and I want to have a rational discussion about it.

Let's talk about the price first. Many people are puzzled: how can it keep declining when it has already dropped by 99%? It's actually quite normal. Last time, the project team raised the price, not expecting it to be hit so hard. To put it bluntly, this market has already been played out - previously, everyone's psychological bottom line was 0.016, and there would be people buying the dip if it fell below this price. But now? It has been below that level for a long time with no improvement, and retail investors are completely afraid to enter the market. Unless a super strong bullish candle comes in to restore confidence.
Let’s take a look at the repurchase. The official repurchase plan of 300 million coins is indeed being executed, having purchased 14 million coins since it was announced 6 days ago. At this rate, it will take 4 months to buy all. Is this good or bad? It depends on personal perspective. Optimists believe it is a positive support, while pessimists think it is a bait—after all, some people got stuck after opening long positions at 0.01.
The contract data is also quite interesting. Today, the long-short ratio for BAS is still 7:3, and these 70% long positions are basically all trapped. Last night's spike didn't force them to close, which indicates that either the positions are not large, or most of them were opened around 0.01 last week.
There is a big event on the 18th. A new round of unlocking is coming, releasing 150 million coins in 3 weeks - this is a real selling pressure. On average, that's 16U per person, and after deducting the 12U gas cost, there is basically no profit margin.
Finally, let's talk about a practical issue: is it realistic to expect the project team to pump the price? It's difficult. There is a large amount of trapped positions above, and even if there is a market trend, it is unlikely to break through the barrier at 0.016— the selling pressure from the trapped positions is too strong.
