The "Arkham" account, specialized in tracking transactions on the X platform, has observed that Owen Gundin, known as one of the early "Bitcoin whales", has sold his entire holdings of the coin.

The account mentioned that Goundin, who has owned Bitcoin since 2011, sold a total of 11,000 Bitcoins during the period since late October, for a total value exceeding 1.3 billion US dollars.

He noted that the sale included a final transfer of 230 million dollars worth of Bitcoin to the Kraken trading platform.

This comes amid a sharp decline in the price of Bitcoin, recording significant losses in its value. According to real-time trading data from CoinMarketCap, the price of Bitcoin against the US dollar reached $86,862, incurring a loss of $3,131.0, which equates to a decline of 3.49% from previous trading levels.
