I genuinely love Gate Square. The alpha calls, live streams, real-time discussions, and that incredible community energy… It’s honestly become my favorite place in the entire crypto space. Huge respect to the @Gate_Square team for building such an amazing social hub! ❤️
But there’s one thing that really bothers me and many others:
Some users (not all) have a daily comment limit — for example, only 10 comments per day.
I personally don’t have this restriction (lucky me), and there’s no character limit either, which is absolutely fantastic and allows us to write long, detailed analyses.
However, tons of active and genuine users are stuck with this 10-comment cap. When a hot discussion is going on, they want to join in, share their thoughts, or even just react… but “daily limit reached” hits them and they’re silenced for the rest of the day. It feels unfair and frustrating.
My sincere suggestions:
Please remove the daily comment limit completely, or at least make it the same (and high) for everyone — something like 100+ comments/day would be perfect.
Spammers and bad actors are already caught super fast by mods — no need to punish honest, active users with these restrictions.
If a limit must exist on certain accounts, at least show a clear reason (“you were limited because of y”) so people don’t feel unfairly targeted.
This small change would skyrocket engagement, make discussions way richer, and most importantly — make Gate Square truly inclusive for everyone.
We already love the events, rewards, and freedom to write long posts… Just give us full freedom to comment too, and we’ll never leave this place, promise! 😍
