There's an interesting take on token lockups that deserves attention - what if we only lock up team allocations, not investor tokens?

The logic actually makes sense when you break it down.

Investors? They've already held up their end of the bargain. Money's wired, contribution complete. Why keep their capital hostage?

Team members though? That's a different story entirely. Their work is ongoing by nature. The value they're supposed to deliver hasn't been realized yet.

It's a framework that flips the traditional model on its head. Instead of treating all stakeholders the same, it acknowledges the fundamental difference in their commitments and timelines.

This logic sounds good at first, but what happens when it actually goes live? Investors will still run away...

Ha, this logic is indeed unassailable... The investors have already paid, so why should there be a lock-up? It’s only reasonable for the team to take the blame.
