Here comes another upgrade, but gas fees are still just as expensive. Fusaka? Never heard of it, guess we’ll have to wait and see—again. Is it gonna meet expectations or not? Just say if it’s a pump or a dump. Upgrade after upgrade, ETH just can’t escape its fate of sky-high gas fees.

actually, if we examine the whole "meets expectations" framing through game theory... the real question nobody's asking is whether our expectations were ever calibrated correctly to begin with, ngl. fusaka shipping is one thing; the ecosystem dynamics it actually unleashes? that's a different beast entirely.
