In the book of Luke we find an old man named Simeon, waiting on God.
Led by the Spirit, he holds the infant Jesus and declares God’s promise fulfilled. Simeon isn’t a king, a ruler, a genius inventor, a wealthy or powerful person of influence. Yet the Creator of the world chose to reveal His earthly presence to this man because Simeon was looking for God.
