South Korea recently released a sci-fi disaster film called "The Great Flood," and it's very good.
The first half of the film will make you think it's just a simple flood disaster movie. Only later do you realize it's actually about the hottest AI technology right now.
The female lead is a PhD in artificial intelligence research, working for a company that develops AI humans. She is responsible for the most important part—"emotional control," also known as "virtual character awakening." By placing AI robots around her from a young age to participate in real-life simulation training, their emotional, memory, and motivation systems enable the virtual characters to think, grow, and develop human-like qualities.
Don't think it's just Korean screenwriters' imagination and daring to film it. In fact, most of the movies are based on real life and actual experiences. Ephyra @EPHYRA_AI has been dedicated to giving AI companions life. Every experiment is innovative, and each update makes the AI companions' responses more natural and closer to human emotional logic.
Ephyra has already completed $6 million in funding. During the early testing phase, over 3,000 Genesis users and 6,000 beta testers provided the initial behavioral and emotional data for the system. With the launch of the node plan, EPHYRA has sold approximately 10,000 node seats through its official website and multiple channels, forming a global community network.
Recently, it has partnered with Gate Wallet, Bitget Wallet, Ari Wallet, and others. Through joint airdrops and task activities, they attracted over 240,000 new participants. The concept of "digital life experiments" is quite appealing. The platform also offers Ephyra Stake staking activities, allowing users to lock tokens within the platform and participate in ecosystem development.
What I am most looking forward to is the launch of ECA 2.0 AI companion, expected in Q2 2026. At that time, Ephyra Companion beta testing will begin, supporting individual growth and memory evolution. Training a personalized AI companion that thinks, grows, and develops human-like qualities—doesn't that sound exciting?
