STEAK ’N SHAKE MUA 10 MILLION USD BITCOIN, PUSHING BTC STRATEGY
🔹 Steak ’n Shake fast food chain announces it has purchased 10 million USD worth of Bitcoin and allocated it to the corporate treasury
🔹 This move comes after 8 months of accepting BTC payments at all stores in the US via Lightning Network (Layer 2 BTC)
🔹 The company describes this as a “self-reinforcing” loop: customers pay with Bitcoin → sales increase → all crypto revenue is added to the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve → used to upgrade stores without raising menu prices
🔹 Steak ’n Shake reports store sales increased by over 10% in Q2/2025, while saving approximately 50% on payment fees when customers use BTC
🔹 The new purchase amounting to about 105 BTC marks the first large-scale direct investment in Bitcoin by the company
