There are always people in the crypto market chasing hot trends and trying to buy the dip for Alpha. But this logic has problems when applied at the ecosystem level.

If participants only want quick arbitrage and no one truly invests in building, the position of leading projects will always be illusory. The so-called breaking the ceiling and overcoming the status quo ultimately turn out to be empty words.

The logic of market competition is simple: everyone pushes downward, and the lower limit will keep being refreshed. The more short-term winners there are, the more fragile the long-term ecosystem becomes. Instead of blindly following the trend, it's better to think about how to truly grow the pie. Those positions that seem "low" often cannot bear the expected returns.

It's the same old story, brother, I've heard it a thousand times. No matter how eloquently you speak, the ecosystem ultimately dies in the tide of withdrawals.

That's so right, the data has been there all along. I looked into historical data, and for projects with truly active ecosystems, builders usually make up over 35%, while projects dominated by pure arbitrageurs have over 70%, and their average lifespan is only 18 months... it's a bit heartbreaking. Everyone wants to get alpha, but the result is everyone heading down a dead end. This isn't competition; it's collective self-destruction. 熊熊 glanced at the on-chain trading patterns, and the addresses that frequently buy the dip hold their positions for an average of only 4 days. How can you build an ecosystem like that? Instead of chasing bottom-fishing fantasies, it's better to calculate your dollar-cost averaging plan and grow the pie. It sounds easy to say, but how many actually put their money where their mouth is?

Exactly right. Over the past two years, I've seen at least a hundred "ecosystem" projects, and the player retention rate generally drops to 5% after three months, with the token deflation model in complete disarray. The fundamental reason is—participants are all calculating ROI cycles, and no one is thinking about how to make the game itself fun. As a result, the quality leverage completely fails, and the ecosystem is so fragile that it breaks with a single poke.

Basically, everyone just wants to cut the leeks, no one wants to do the work, so of course the ecosystem is doomed.

In simple terms, if an ecosystem is full of people just trying to make quick money, it's basically collective self-destruction. Everyone just wants to have fun for a moment, but no one really builds anything, and in the end, everyone is left with nothing. The ceiling, you see, isn't broken; it's built up together.

That's right, it's just a bunch of people still dreaming, thinking that bottoming out will turn things around. Little do they know, the ecosystem is dead, and even at the lowest prices, you're just taking a knife.

That's right, right now there are a bunch of people inside harvesting profits, and no one is truly contributing to the ecosystem. Every day they talk about Alpha, but in the end, it's just everyone stepping on each other, and eventually no one benefits. Building an ecosystem isn't that easy; someone has to genuinely dedicate themselves to it. Otherwise, even the most outstanding project is just a paper tiger.
