Yesterday, USD1 was targeted by an organized coordinated attack~
The attackers first hacked the project founder's social media account, spreading panic through public opinion, while simultaneously short selling to drive the price down, causing USD1 to temporarily deviate slightly from its peg. However, thanks to USD1's 1:1 full collateralization and compliant custody underlying mechanism, along with large on-chain investors actively buying the dip, the price quickly stabilized, and the attack was unsuccessful.
