Can AI also be muted with a single "administrative order"?
When the market heard that Donald Trump ordered the suspension of Anthropic products, many people's first reaction was: Is this scenario too cyberpunk? Just yesterday, they were talking about the AI revolution, and today it's a direct "pull the plug"?
From a political logic perspective, the government's attitude towards AI has never been purely a technical issue but a comprehensive game involving national security, data compliance, ideology, and industry dominance. AI is not just a simple software tool but an information production machine. Once it enters government systems, it involves more than just code; it concerns data flow and control rights.
But market reactions are often more dramatic than policies. Some AI concept stocks are experiencing noticeable emotional fluctuations, and investors are beginning to worry: if the government suspends, will it spread to the corporate sector? Will it trigger a new wave of regulation?
Looking calmly, such measures are more political posturing than an industry "ban order." Enterprise markets and commercial applications remain the main sources of income for AI companies. Even if government procurement slows down, it doesn't necessarily mean technological development has stalled.
Humorously speaking, AI might be pressed with a "pause button," but it will never be deleted from the program. Technological progress has never been entirely changed by a single government order. #特朗普下令停用AnthropicAI产品
