A $1B bet on cell therapy: J&J plant to bring over 4,000 Pa. construction jobs

Johnson & Johnson is investing over $1 billion in a new cell therapy manufacturing facility in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. This facility will create more than 4,000 construction jobs and 500 biomanufacturing jobs, bolstering the state’s economy and J&J’s U.S. manufacturing capabilities. The investment is part of the company’s broader $55 billion U.S. investment plan to produce advanced medicines domestically.
