Nearly 100,000 yuan worth of gold was mistakenly thrown away as trash by the daughter. The mother only discovered it after 13 hours. Property management: This batch of trash has been sent to the incineration plant for processing, and we are currently following up.
Recently, in Foshan, Guangdong, Ms. Chen casually placed a bag containing nearly 100 grams of gold on the coffee table. Unexpectedly, her daughter mistook it for trash and threw it into the trash can at around 7 a.m. It wasn’t until 8 p.m. that Ms. Chen realized the gold was missing. It is understood that the bag contained an 80-gram men’s gold necklace, as well as a small women’s necklace, rings, earrings, and a small gold medal, with a total value of nearly 100,000 yuan. After discovering the gold was missing, Ms. Chen’s family immediately rushed to the trash can, but it was already empty. Upon inquiry, the property management company informed them that the trash had already been collected. The reporter quickly contacted the local sanitation company, only to learn that this batch of trash had been sent to the incineration plant for processing on the afternoon of February 27 and is currently being followed up.
