Spring Festival holiday shutdown. Last week, the major oil refineries nationwide processed 40,000 tons of soybeans.

Monitoring shows that due to refinery shutdowns during the long holiday, domestic major oil refineries processed 1.69 million tons of soybeans from February 6-13, a week-over-week decrease of 800,000 tons, a month-over-month decrease of 80,000 tons, and a year-over-year decrease of 260,000 tons; from February 14-20, processing was 40,000 tons. After the holiday, oil refineries gradually resumed operations, and it is expected that this week’s processing will be about 800,000 tons. The total processing volume for February is estimated to be around 4.7 million tons. (National Grain and Oil Information Center)
