Night trading on-chain oracle contract premium 12%, crypto KOL "CBB" and another large short whale's holdings both experienced significant pullbacks

Mars Finance News, March 11 — According to Hyperinsight monitoring, Oracle (ORCL) closed down 1.4% at $149 today, but surged sharply by 12.2% in after-hours and night trading. As a result, the ORCL mapping contract price on Hyperliquid also soared, rising over 12% in the short term to currently be at $167.4, a premium of over 12% above the closing price. During this rally, two major whales holding over a million in short positions on Hyperliquid—the crypto KOLs “CBB” and “On-Chain Investors”—were both affected. Both had previously positioned with 3x leverage on ORCL shorts around $154, with holdings of approximately $1.1 million each. As the contract price jumped, their short positions turned from profit to loss, with drawdowns exceeding 20%.
