Poland announces the withdrawal of all military personnel stationed in Iraq

Poland’s Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said on the 20th that Poland has withdrawn all of its military personnel stationed in Iraq. Kosiniak-Kamysz wrote on a social media platform that, in light of the deteriorating security situation in the Middle East, after assessing combat conditions and potential threats, Poland decided to withdraw its military contingent from Iraq. He said that most of the personnel from the contingent have returned to Poland or are en route back, and that some personnel are currently in Jordan. (Xinhua)
