Vosh: The Federal Reserve's balance sheet is too large and will work with the Treasury Department to reduce it.

ME News, on April 22 (UTC+8), Federal Reserve nominee Wosch said that he still hopes the Federal Reserve’s balance sheet size can be reduced, and that he will work with the Treasury Secretary to achieve this goal. Wosch told senators, “A large balance sheet has become a common, recurring phenomenon, and it serves no purpose, which is also part of the reason the Federal Reserve has been drawn into political affairs. I believe we need a smaller Federal Reserve balance sheet. By working with the Treasury Secretary, we will find a way to reduce the size of the balance sheet.” (Source: Jinshi)
