The United Arab Emirates expressed willingness to participate in the security assurance of the Strait of Hormuz navigation route.
According to a report by the United Arab Emirates’ “United News” 2, UAE Foreign Minister Khalifa said on the same day that the UAE is willing to participate in any relevant measures to ensure safe navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. Khalifa said that the Strait of Hormuz is an important international passage governed by international law. The UAE will safeguard its legitimate rights and interests, and is also willing to participate in collective action to maintain regional stability. (Xinhua News Agency)
