Trump announces extension of ceasefire with Iran

BlockBeats News, April 22, local time April 21 afternoon, U.S. President Trump posted on his personal social media platform that, at the request of the Chief of Staff of the Pakistan Army and the Prime Minister, the U.S. will temporarily delay its military strikes against Iran, extend the ceasefire period, and require Iran to first submit a unified negotiation plan.

During this period, the U.S. military will continue to impose a maritime blockade on Iran while maintaining a state of military readiness. He said that the ceasefire will last until Iran submits a proposal and negotiations are completed, “no matter the outcome.”
