The two-year UK government bond yield rose about 23 basis points this week.

On Friday (April 24th) at the close of the European market, the yield on the UK 10-year government bond fell by 2.7 basis points to 4.912%, up 15 basis points for the week, continuing its overall upward trend, with trading ranges between 4.769% and 4.993%. The yield on the 2-year UK bond dropped by 1.9 basis points to 4.350%, up 22.9 basis points for the week, trading between 4.141% and 4.439%. The yield on the 30-year UK bond fell by 3.2 basis points to 5.585%, up 9.2 basis points for the week; the 50-year UK bond yield dropped by 3.5 basis points to 5.152%, up 10.2 basis points for the week. The 2/10-year UK bond yield spread decreased by 0.871 basis points to +55.9 basis points, down a total of 8.27 basis points for the week, continuing its overall decline.
