Mastercard Joins Blockchain Security Standards Council (BSSC)

On April 22, BeInCrypto reported that traditional financial giant Mastercard has joined the Blockchain Security Standards Council (BSSC) as a founding member. The company will participate in the development of security frameworks for blockchain networks and tokenized assets, and will join a working group focused on security and privacy guidelines. BSSC is a non-profit alliance with existing members including Coinbase, Fireblocks, Anchorage Digital, BitGo, Figment, and Ribbit Capital. Claire Le Gal from Mastercard will represent the company on the BSSC board.
