Wisconsin Sues Kalshi, Coinbase and Others Over Sports Event Contracts

Abstract generation in progress

Wisconsin filed three complaints against five companies — Kalshi, Polymarket, Robinhood, Crypto.com and Coinbase — over sports-related event contracts. The state seeks declaratory judgments and injunctions that would bar the companies from offering those contracts to customers in Wisconsin. The complaints say existing contracts would remain in place and seek only prospective relief. The filings come as other states pursue similar actions and the CFTC challenges some state crackdowns in court.
