ME News, April 7 (UTC+8): Gartner recently predicted that by 2030, spending on supply chain management software with Agentic AI capabilities will grow to $53 billion. This growth is mainly driven by enterprises’ demand to address increasingly complex global supply chain challenges, improve resilience, and enhance efficiency. Agentic AI can autonomously carry out tasks, make decisions, and interact with systems, thereby optimizing key areas such as inventory management, demand forecasting, logistics coordination, and risk mitigation. Gartner noted that although many current supply chain software solutions already incorporate basic AI functionality, over the next 10 years, Agentic AI with advanced autonomous capabilities will become a mainstream investment direction, driving supply chain operations toward greater automation and intelligence.
