I almost sent myself away just now... I accidentally clicked too many times when copying the address, and it entered the clipboard as the previous "looks very similar" address. Luckily, I took a quick glance at the on-chain preview step, or else I would have paid gas for a transaction on the mainnet, and I’d be crying for a long time. To put it simply, my current compromise is: small amounts, frequent transactions, testing everything on L2, for speed and peace of mind; if I really go on the mainnet, I’ll only do two things—large-scale aggregation/long-term holding, plus always send a tiny "probing" transaction first each time.

As for the mainnet experience, if it’s expensive, forget it, and I always feel like you can’t queue faster than others. Recently, I’ve seen everyone complain about validator/miner earnings, MEV making the ordering look like a black box, and I can empathize a bit: I just want to quietly transfer funds, why do I have to compete with others to see who can cut in line better... Anyway, I’d rather confirm a couple of extra times or take an extra step in the bridge than be a sucker in the mainnet queue. That’s all for now.
