Vice President of the Hong Kong Small and Medium Enterprise Listed Companies Association, Chen Xi: Hong Kong capital has a strong willingness to participate in cross-border mergers and acquisitions
Chen Xi, Deputy Chairwoman of the Hong Kong Association of Small and Medium-Sized Listed Companies, Managing Director of Huasheng Securities, and the licensed responsible person holding Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission License No. 1 and 4, believes that since 2025, cross-border mergers and acquisitions between Shenzhen and Hong Kong have been entering a historic window period. With the introduction of relevant policies, Hong Kong is upgrading from a purely financing market into an industrial capital platform and a cross-border integration hub. As she observes, Hong Kong capital is showing extremely strong willingness to participate in Shenzhen M&A funds, and with ongoing progress in mutual connectivity and interconnection between the two exchanges, a win-win outcome for both capital and industry is expected to be achieved.
