Reporters have learned that Li Liyun, former Vice President of XPeng Motors and a key figure in autonomous driving, has recently been appointed CTO of Zhongqing Robotics. He previously led XPeng Motors’ autonomous driving team in the AI transformation and organizational upgrade of “product + technology.” Prior to that, he held core positions such as technical architect and senior expert at LinkedIn’s US headquarters, Baidu’s Apollo team in the US, and JD.com’s JDX Smart Logistics Laboratory.
