Lockheed secures US$1.9bn C-130J training deal

Lockheed Martin has been awarded a ten-year, US$1.9 billion contract by the Pentagon for the C-130J Maintenance and Aircrew Training System (MATS) programme. This contract ensures comprehensive training support for C-130J operators, expanding to include the U.S. Navy Reserve and Coast Guard. The C-130J Super Hercules remains a crucial tactical airlift platform globally, with over 560 aircraft delivered and having accumulated more than three million flight hours.
