Take a look at what happened in the market over the last 24 hours... extremely heavy liquidations. According to CoinGlass data, we saw $826 million being liquidated, and here’s the interesting part: short positions took the biggest hit, with $661 million compared to only $166 million in long positions. It seems that those betting on a drop got hit the hardest this time.

BTC led the way with $375 million in liquidations, while ETH was at $184 million. Nothing surprising given the volatility we've been witnessing. But what really caught attention was an absurd liquidation: $15.7 million all at once on the BTC-USD pair from Hyperliquid. According to CoinGlass, more than 194,000 people were liquidated in total over 24 hours. These numbers recorded by CoinGlass show how brutal the market can be when it changes direction too quickly.
