The Longgang District Government is making a strong move this time. Recently, I saw that the AI Office in Shenzhen’s Longgang has released a policy draft outlining support for the development of OpenClaw and OPC. The subsidies and incentive measures in it are definitely worth paying attention to.

The core is this: if you develop applications based on OpenClaw, contribute core code to the mainstream international community, or develop skill packs related to Longgang’s strategic industries on skill trading platforms, as well as build application projects for embedded intelligent devices, then after approval you can receive up to 2 million in subsidies. For developers, this level of support is still quite attractive.

In addition, they also plan to screen a batch of deep application projects for OpenClaw every year, named the “Longgang OpenClaw Application Demonstration Projects.” The reward is 30% of the actual investment, capped at 1 million. The key focus areas are intelligent manufacturing, smart government services, smart parks, and smart health.

For OPC projects—especially early-stage ones with high technical content and strong innovation capabilities—the government is also providing financing channels to support them. Projects that meet the requirements can receive up to 10 million in equity investment support. This also gives special consideration to projects led by young entrepreneurs.

To be honest, this kind of policy support is definitely a positive for the ecosystem development of OpenClaw and OPC. Longgang’s determination in AI and smart hardware appears to be genuine.
