I was looking for a way to get into cloud mining, and suddenly I realized there are many options available. Cloud mining basically allows you to rent hashing power without buying expensive equipment or worrying about technical operation — the platform handles everything in its data centers.
I tried to learn about the most popular platforms out there now. GMiners, for example, has over 617,000 active daily users and specializes in mining coins like Ethereum Classic and Bitcoin Gold. NiceHash is one of the older names — founded in 2014 — and gives you the option to rent your devices or buy hashing power from others.
Bitdeer is interesting because it’s listed on Nasdaq and is actually owned by a real Bitcoin mining company. They have data centers in America, Norway, and Asia, and since they are a public company, transparency is higher. Genesis Mining is also one of the big companies — founded in 2013 — and has served over two million people worldwide.
BSVCloud is one of the oldest platforms — founded in 2017 — and has over 500,000 miners. Its unique feature is that it uses solar energy and focuses on sustainability. DNSBTC is American and focused on short-term contracts — some lasting just a few days — and offers a $60 free mining bonus for new accounts.
SWL Miner from the UK has over 5 million registered users. It operates on renewable energy and offers a $15 bonus for new users. StormGain is a bit different — it’s a mobile app that combines cryptocurrency exchange and free cloud mining, and you don’t need to buy hash contracts like other platforms — it mines Bitcoin directly within the app.
Hashing24 specializes exclusively in Bitcoin mining and offers options ranging from 5 to 100 terahashes per second with contracts from 12 to 36 months. ECOS, from Armenia, has been operating since 2017 and has clear regulatory oversight. Their contracts are longer-term and adjust based on network difficulty instead of short cycles.
In the end, each platform has something different. Some are for beginners who don’t have a lot of money, and others are for serious people looking for long-term contracts. The important thing is to choose according to your needs and not rush your decision.
